A solitary predator scans the coral reef for an evening meal. ³Sharks are most active at dusk and in the evening hours,² Wyland says. They are actually very shy around humans, unless they're provoked. On the other hand, when they prowl the reef at dinner time, you can bet most of the smaller fish on the reef are doing their best to keep out of sight.
