Wyland Galleries introduces limited edition prints on metal for collectors of Wyland paintings and fine art photography. This state-of-the-art process uses heat to transfer dye directly onto 1/16" thick-brushed aluminum for a crisp, high-gloss image that meets today's highest archival standards. Each water-resistant print is lightweight, will not bend, and comes floated in a metal frame for a sleek, contemporary look that's sure to catch everyone's attention. An ultra hard scratch resistant surface ensures that your Wyland metal print enjoys the same longevity and color fidelity over times as your paper and canvas prints.

The sea otters of Monterey Bay have long been a favorite subject for Wyland’s lens. These playful animals romp, tumble and wrestle, but find plenty of time for eating and resting, as the otters in this image by Wyland do. Today, about 2,500 southern sea otters live along the central California coast. They were nearly hunted to extinction in the last century, but thanks to a few individuals with the foresight to create laws protecting them, there are numerous small populations for everyone to enjoy. “I can watch these animals for hours on end,” Wyland says. “They are a photographer’s dream. After countless hours with them, I came across this shot — and it says more about them than any words could.”
